Team



Blidworth Welfare of the Central Midlands Supreme Division return to pre
season training at their Mansfield Road ground on Tuesday 7th July 2009.
Sessions will commence at 6.30pm and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Any
new players who wish to join the current squad are welcome to attend.A number of
friendlies have been arranged to work in conjunction with the training
plan. These include home games against Worksop Town (7.45pm)
on Tuesday 14th July followed by Mansfield Town (8pm) on Friday 24th
July.

The club are also looking to appoint a new secretary and there
are several other positions available for anyone wishing to volunteer to

Blidworth Welfare will have an under 19's side playing in the
North Midlands Alliance league next season managed by Stan Matthews and
Eric Hill. League games will start in the first week of September.
Blidworth will be in Division 3 which consists of

South Normanton Town
Retford Utd
Radford F.C.
Ollerton Town
Maltby Main
Blidworth
The under 19's will play Sutton Town at home in the first
round of the League Cup on week commencing 28/9.
If Blidworth win, we are away to West Bridgford
Colts approx 26/10.

everyone who either sponsored or attended our Race Night in the Welfare last
Monday, 20th April 2009. The event raised over £400 for Club Funds and a
further £79 went towards the Redevelopment Scheme.

Off the pitch Blidworth were boosted with the
news they had been afforded a grant of £49500 from Wren towards their
dressing rooms redevelopment programme. The Club are
also holding a Christmas Raffle which will involve both Junior
and Senior Sections with the aim of raising £1450 towards Club
funds. If you are interested in helping out either as a player

New players wanted for 09/10
season. Our U10s are looking for new players to join training sessions
in preparation for next season playing 11 a side. We will need a squad
of around 15-16 players. If you want to play for a quality team and a
club with a great future then please get in touch. A minimum LEVEL 1
through to UEFA B coaching will be given to all players who attend
training. If you think you have what it takes to play at a high

Blidworth
Welfare Football Club are prepared to offer the use of one of their
football pitches for a girls/ladies team next season, so long as the
team are prepared to play under the banner of Blidworth Welfare.
Dressing
Room and Catering facilities would be made available.
There
would be no charge for usage of the pitch but all staff, players and
parents would be required to become members of the Wefare which
currently costs £3 per year.

Commercial Manager

Blidworth Welfare
Football Club of the CML Premier
Division require a Commercial Manager. The person
appointed will be required to raise funds for the Football
Club
(with support from the Committee) through fund raising
activities
and increased sponsorship. This position would ideally suit
someone with Sales experience who has time available during working
hours to talk to potential sponsors and organise events. The Club
already has a substantial number of sponsors in place which needs to be
increased in order to improve our financial position and growth.
