I would just like to say a massive well done to our blidworth welfare u9s for this season. We started up as a brand new team and entered in the mansfield chad youth league in division 2. We came 2nd in the league and got moved up into the division 1 plate league where the best teams from both divisions play. A fantastic last half of the season beating all the "top"teams has seen us win the league. This was not easy as there were some great teams that had been together for a couple of seasons longer than us! The development of the boys has been truly magnificent and has been commented on numerous times during the season.

I would personally like to thank all the boys for their hard work week in week out this year,also to darren( the gaffer) for all his effort in getting the games sorted each week and doing a great job of looking after the kids with sponsors etc. A special thanks to Phil Selby who has helped and encouraged me and other new coaches to further our knowledge in the coaching world and this has certainly been passed onto the kids this year.

Finally thanks to all the sponsors,staff and committee at the welfare because without you lot we wouldnt have such a fantastic future for the kids playing for Blidworth Welfare.

Lets hope we can be as successful next season as this one,but just as important keep the fun and enjoyment going lads!

I THINK THIS WAS MAYBE THE BEST GAME EVER PLAYED BY THE LADS.

AFTER A BIT OF A SLOW START THE FIRST GOAL WAS SCORED, CONFIDENCE WAS GAINED AND THE BALL WAS PASSED REALLY WELL  A BRILLIANT TEAM EFFORT AND RESULT . WE WON 8-0 - SCORERS :  A STALEY 1, A SMART 2, L MASKERY 1, T HARDWICK 4

After a good win in the cup last  week  We were back on the road with away game at ADASC UTD we started like a train in the first 10 mins we hit the post and the cross bar we tried everything to score  but we could not put the ball in net ,but after 15 mins we scored and by half time we were 3-0 up . Second half we play a lot better like we can with some good passing and crossing  and we won 11-0 .

Blidworth v Clipstone

It  may be one of the best game you may of  see in  a cup match. This season, we started at 10.30 . And after 15 min went up 1-0 and then after 20 min we went  up 2-0. But then things went wrong. After half time they scored  twice  in the scond half . And  then it was extra time 5 min each way and then they scored in the first half of extra time  but we had some good chances but it was not our day, we lost 3-2.
